Marcia has been a member since The Spa Club opened in 1998. She is a native of Salt Lake City and earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in drawing and painting from the University of Utah while working for its public television affiliate, KUED. When she isn’t working at the U or The Spa Club, she is spending time with her family, renovating her home, rooting for the Utah Jazz of the Runnin’ Utes, delivering lunches for "Meals on Wheels," and working on her watercolor technique.

Shannon is a graduate of the Francois D. School of Esthetics. There, she specialized in microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage and body treatments. "I love to help people feel better about their skin which is the first thing people notice about you. When they feel better about their complexion, they feel better about themselves."

Alison earned her esthetic degree from Francois D. She enjoys making people feel good about their skin, and excels at educating those with serious skin problems. When not at work, Alison is usually camping, hiking, playing with her dogs or hanging out with her husband. If you have any questions or concerns about your skin, Alison will answer them with a big smile on her face!

In 2002, Trista graduated from Cameo College of Esthetic Beauty. “What I enjoy most about my profession is that I can truly educate people on the importance of skin care.” When Trista is not working hard at The Spa Club, she is most likely taking care of her son, hanging out with friends or camping.

An esthetician for a few years now, Britni brings with her skills an absolutely charming personality. "I love being around people and making them feel good." What more would you want from an esthetician? Britni has advanced training in microdermabrasion and Synergie Cellulite treatments.

A graduate of Sherman Kendall’s Academy, Emily has been doing hair for several years and maintains a full clientele due to her expertise. She specializes in color, foil highlights and cuts. "I love when a client comes in and says she wants something new and fun. We don’t update our style enough and people, men and women, don’t realize how much you can do with color! It can totally beautify you within hours!" Emily is also a Certified Makeup Artist and has taken advanced classes from all the major color lines. Emily is also a specialist in wedding and event updo’s. Emily’s work has been spotlighted in Teen People Magazine and Salt Lake Magazine. In Emily’s spare time, she loves to workout (and it shows!).

Emily is a graduate of Sherman Kendall’s Hair Academy and was the top graduate in her class. She specializes in color and weaves. "I LOVE giving a person a new ’do’ and you will ALWAYS leave this salon feeling fabulous when you get your hair done by me!!" That is a direct quote and we stand by the veracity of it!

Ellie is a graduate of Hairitage College of Beauty and graduated from the "Honor Room," an honor bestowed only on the Best of the Best. She is an expert in foils and weaves and creates color that is natural and beautiful. Ellie has a large request clientele that has followed her to The Spa Club because she is so good at what she does. Why did Ellie get into the hair business? "Because I love working with people and creating a exceptional style that people love!" Newly married, you will always find a smile on Ellie’s face when you see her .

Maren graduated from the Barbering and Cosmetology program at SLCC. She has lived in Utah her entire life. She enjoys running, playing with her dogs, and playing with her nephew. She loves doing hair because even if it’s a return client she is taking care of, there is always something new and exciting going on.

Marie is back and ready to roll! After taking a couple years off to be with her children, Marie has graced us with her presence once again! In her time off she has brush up on her acrylic skills and has excelled in it. She is an exceptional nail tech and we are so grateful to have her back on our team. She is also licensed in permenant cosmetics making people more beautiful everyday - even when they first wake up in the morning!

Clarissa graduated from the Myotherapy College of Utah and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for the last several years. She specializes in Swedish Massages, the most relaxing therapy. "I love helping people relax and de-stress! I am also very experienced in helping clients with any injuries or chronic pain, to diminish that pain and ease future discomfort." Clarissa has incredibly intense and positive energy, leaving you feeling ga-ga by the end of her treatments.

Melissa is an Aries (as are most of our Massage Therapists?!) and is a graduate from the Utah College of Massage Therapy. She has been a therapist for over six years now and is incredible at what she does. "I especially enjoy body treatments, Stone Massage, and working with aromatherapy." Melissa is certified in Reiki I and II and was trained by her mother who has been a Reiki Master for the better part of the last decade. We guess it is genetic...she was born with the talent to give the most relaxing and therapeutic massages you can get!
